Service Description

The word “Dojo” in Japanese is composed of two Kanji characters: 道 (Do: The Way) + 場 (Jo: The Place), so it literally means “The Place of the Way”. A dojo is a place for self-improvement and life-long learning, the home to a community that walks on the Way of Learning under the guidance of a master. MUSASHI DOJO is based on the philosophical foundation set by the great swordmaster and artist Miyamoto Musashi (1584-1645). Unlike other dojos of martial arts focusing on physical training, MUSASHI DOJO regards the mind to be the strongest weapon and concentrates on the inner meanings of the kanji characters by using the techniques of calligraphy. This is Creative Bushido.
