ARE YOUR COURSES ACCREDITED AND DO I HAVE TO TAKE THEM FOR CREDIT?Some of our courses are accredited internationally and others are accepted on a case by case basis at universities across the United States. These courses, in most cases, can apply directly towards your degree. Check with your study abroad office for the approval process. However, you don't NEED to take the courses for credit, you can attend for the experience, though you will still be held to the same academic standards as credit-seeking students!

WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER TRAVELED BEFORE OR DON'T SPEAK THE LANGUAGE?Don't worry! Everyone has to start somewhere. It's our mission to take away all the difficulty of navigating and figuring out new and foreign places that can make travelling stressful and even dangerous. Our staff is not only highly experienced and knowledgable about each of the locations we visit, but are world travelers as well, and aware of the problems that can arise and actively seek to prevent them and to make students aware of considerations if traveling. By the time you finish one of our programs, you will be more equipped to travel by yourself and more confident abroad. Language, likewise, is not an issue for English speakers. Our courses are all taught in English, and we have no language requirement due to the short-term nature of our trip. If language learning is something you are interested in, we can help to connect you with a local class or you can easily find time to chat with locals.

WHO CAN ATTEND THESE PROGRAMS? WHAT IS A NORMAL CLASS COMPOSITION?While Undergraduates predominantly make up our student body, we also host Gap Year and Continuing Education students. Students of any academic background are welcome. What we look for in our application is a passion for travel and life experience. Students of all nationalities are welcome!! A typical student body composition is 70% female, 30% male (more females tend to study abroad), and between 7-15 students. We limit the admittance numbers to ensure classes can be tailored and highly individualized, and to make sure we create a welcoming and close-knit environment each semester. We get to know each student well and they get to know our instructors. We are NOT a large institution where you can get lost in the dorm halls or left confused and neglected in a foreign city center. We are with you each step of the way, and we often maintan contact with students far beyond the end of a program.

IS THERE DEADLINE TO APPLY?Typically the final deadline is one month prior to the start of the program, but we suggest applying much earlier to ensure your acceptance and to ensure that there will still be space in the programs. The final payment for your semester is due a month prior to the start of the session. We try to adhere to this month prior cut-off to enable the best organization for the entire group.
